Known for blending the disciplines of weaving and sculpture, Lenore Tawney was a catalyst for validating fiber arts as a recognized and respected medium proving that art and craft could coexist. The last photo is of Tawney’s New York loft which served as her studio, gallery, meditation sanctuary and home (the shot was taken in 1994).
