The folks at The Scout created a really great video on wood sculptor Josh Vogel of Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Company. The video explores Vogel’s work and his feelings about working with wood. He talks about how turning wood is a type of time travel for him where the removal of rings and layers in the wood reveal earlier moments in time. He presents these ideas in such a beautiful and inspiring way – very powerful stuff. Enjoy!
