From her art series called “Memories and Nightmares,” British photographer Lottie Davies designs and recreates scenes for her narrative photographs from stories and personal histories. Davies finds inspiration for her photographic style from “classical and modern painting, cinema and theatre as well as the imaginary worlds of literature” – I really enjoy actually being able to see these influences in her work. What an imagination! You can read the stories that correspond to each photograph on her site. I also enjoyed photographs from her “Travel” series as well. Such great work!
