New York 1930s Style

Last Saturday New York City held its very first Tweed Run – a period cycling event where everyone dresses up in 1930s style tweed clothing, cycles around the city streets on their old Pashley Bicycles and enjoys some tea andĀ biscuits. I would have loved to experience it first hand particularly because I love fashion and style from the 1930s and I think it would have been a ton of fun.
Bill Cunnigham did a nice job of documenting the event for those of us who missed it – he called it “the first reality fashion show of the 21st century.”
